      • Implement a keystroke frequency-based heat map effect

        The heat map effect is based on the recency of the keystroke. It would be cool if there was one based on the frequency of the keystroke so, for example, Ctrl would show up as "hot" for emacs users and so on.

        • Add a background color to the heat map

          For example white until you press, then various shades between red and white as the "heat" fades.

          • Add an option to disable respawn in Conway's Game of Life

            So typing would be the only source of new "live" cells.
